On September 14, 2024, the Department of Electrical
and Electronics Engineering hosted an insightful

alumni talk for IV-year students. Nirmal S, an

Analyst Trainee at Deloitte and a member of the

2020-2024 batch, presented the talk titled "From
Classroom to Boardroom: My Professional Journey."

Nirmal shared experiences from transitioning from

academic life to a corporate environment, offering
valuable insights into the skills and mindset

required for success in the industry. The session

highlighted key professional challenges and
opportunities, providing students with practical

advice and inspiration for their own career paths.

The talk was highly appreciated for its relevance and

clarity.

On September 14th, 2024, a Tech Talk on the design of solar
power plants was conducted for ECE students on google meet.

The session featured Mr. Sivraman, Project Director at IEEE

ADSF SIGHT and Central Engineer at Schneider Electric, as the
resource person. Mr. Sivraman shared his expertise on the

intricacies of solar power plant design and its practical

applications. The talk provided valuable insights into

renewable energy technologies and their impact on the
industry.
