Development Program on "Harnessing Green IT: Transforming Tomorrow's Challenges to
1 Innovation," held from 27th September to 3rd October 2024 at SRM Institute of Science and
Technology.
Mrs. Jenifer Selvarani A from Artificial Intelligence & Data Science received a Certificate of
2 Participation from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology for attending a 5-day
online FDP on "Tech-Synergy: Cloud-Driven AI & IoT Solutions" from 30th September to 4th
October 2024.
Dr. P. Anbarasan published a paper on “Smart energy management for plug-in hybrid electric
3 vehicles: Integration of waterwheel plant algorithm and dual stream spectrum deconvolution
neural network” in Journal of Energy Storage, November 2024.
Dr. G.S. Uthayakumar, Associate Professor in the Department of ECE, has achieved recognition with
his latest research paper indexed under the title "Optimized Energy Management for Interconnected
4 Networked Microgrids: A Hybrid NEGCN-PFOA Approach with Demand Response and Marginal
Pricing." This study presents a novel approach to enhancing energy distribution in interconnected
microgrids by integrating demand response and marginal pricing models.
Dr. C. Mohan, Assistant Professor in the Department of ECE, recently published a research paper titled
"A Compact Inset Coupled-Fed Triangular Patch Antenna for Wideband 5G Applications." The paper
5 appears in the September 2024 issue of the *Indonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering and
Informatics (IJEEI)*, Volume 12, Issue 3, on page 659. This study introduces an innovative antenna
design optimized for 5G applications, aiming to enhance bandwidth and efficiency in next-generation
networks.
Dr. S. Tephillah, Associate Professor in the Department of ECE, has recently published a patent titled
"Speech Stammer Detection System Using Spectral Features and Artificial Neural Networks." This
6 innovative system utilizes spectral features combined with neural network algorithms to identify and
analyze speech stammering patterns with improved accuracy. The patent, officially published on

"Integration of IoT and Machine Learning for Energy-Efficient Smart Home Automation." This
