Social Outreach Activities
The mission that our chairman envisions is that every
Josephite embodies compassionate citizenship. To
realize this, he initiated the "Vidivelli" program for
students. Each semester, students engage with NGOs,
offering their assistance and support. This program aims
to instill empathy and a sense of responsibility towards
societal welfare in students. By actively participating in
community service, students not only contribute a
positive attitude towards society but also cultivates
valuable life skills and a deeper understanding of social
issues. Through "Vidivelli," students learn the
importance of compassion, empathy, and active
citizenship, preparing them to become socially conscious
individuals who strive to make a difference in the world.
This holistic approach towards education emphasizes
the development of both academic knowledge and
humanitarian values, fostering well-rounded individuals
committed to serving their communities.
I year students of the CSE, ADS and EEE visited the
various old age homes and orphanage homes as
part of their NGO visit on May 04 & 11, 2024.
Students recently embarked on a heartwarming
journey to local old age homes, spreading cheer and
companionship to the elderly residents. This
initiative not only brightened the spirits of the
seniors but also fostered empathy and
understanding among the youth. Through heartfelt
interactions, students gained invaluable insights
into the challenges faced by the elderly, enriching
their perspectives and nurturing a sense of social
responsibility.
