Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering faculty Dr. N.P.
Gopinath, attended an event RT24 India Regional Conference organized by
OPAL-RT Technologies India Pvt. Ltd on 17.12.2024 and 18.12.2024. During
the event he had the opportunity to interact with key professionals from
leading organizations such as OPAL-RT, Bitlismen, Keysight Technologies,
and Electra EV. The discussions were highly productive and centred on
potential collaborative initiatives, including: opportunities for student
internships, Industrial visits, Guest lectures and Collaborative research
projects.

Dr. G.S. Uthayakumar, Associate Professor from

the Department of ECE, visited Markforged

Company on December 19, 2024, to explore

advancements in additive manufacturing

technologies. On the same day, he met with Mr.

Ram, Vice President of Monotech Systems and
Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Ambattur, Chennai.

The discussions focused on enhancing placement and internship

opportunities for students, along with organizing guest lectures and

workshops. Plans to establish a Research Centre of Excellence in

collaboration with Monotech Systems were also deliberated to promote

innovation and advanced research. These initiatives aim to bridge the gap

between industry and academia for the holistic development of students.
