The activities of every academic year are planned by the University for affiliated college NSS units to execute. The motto of NSS is \u201cNot Me, But You\u201d.<\/p><p><strong>Regularly conducted activities include<\/strong><\/p><ul class=\"list-4\"><li>Personality development programme.<\/li><li>Campus beautification.<\/li><li>Soft skill development programme.<\/li><li>Computer coaching class for school children.<\/li><li>Voluntary services for orphanage and old age home inmates.<\/li><li>Celebration of NSS day every year on 24th September.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Our institution has been presented with &#8220;Tobacco Free Educational Institute&#8221; (YRC)<\/h3><p style=\"margin: 0in;\">The Youth Red Cross Society is managed by The Indian Red Cross state branches. The youth represent a substantial part of the membership of the Red Cross for its humanitarian commitment. The main objective of YRC movement is based on the principles of<\/p><ul class=\"list-4\"><li>Protection of health and Life<\/li><li>Service to the needy people<\/li><li>Promotion of national and international friendship to develop the mental and moral capacity of the youth.<\/li><\/ul><p>In consultation with the leading hospitals in Chennai, our students have made a panel of blood donors with their blood groups.
