\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Google Developer Student Club is an initiative by Google Developers in association with over 172 universities and colleges, in 90+ cities across India for the facilitation of innovation and to improve the technical and business skill set mong students and aspiring engineers.\u00a0Nikhil Xavier John of 4th ear and M. Akshay Kumaar of 3rd year, Department of Information Technology, St. Joseph\u2019s College of Engineering, St. Joseph\u2019s Group of Institutions<\/strong>\u00a0were selected as the\u00a0DSC lead\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0ML facilitator<\/strong>\u00a0for the academic year\u00a02019-20<\/strong>\u00a0respectively. The Google Developer Student Club includes students from both\u00a0St. Joseph\u2019s College of Engineering and St. Joseph\u2019s Institute of Technology.<\/strong>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

CLOUD STUDY JAM<\/h5>

Google Developer Student Club<\/strong>\u00a0organized\u00a0\u2018Cloud Study Jam\u2019<\/strong>, a two-day certification workshop on\u00a019th and 20th of July 2019<\/strong>\u00a0for the selected student members of the \u2018Google Developer Student Club\u2019 from\u00a0the IT and CSE departments of St. Joseph\u2019s College of Engineering and St. Joseph\u2019s Institute of Technology. Mr. Nikhil Madhusudan Raichur<\/strong>, Community Manager, Developer Relations Team, Google, was the resource person of the workshop.<\/p>

The students were given hands-on training on\u00a0Google cloud fundamentals and platforms<\/strong>\u00a0where each student was provided\u00a0$145 worth of qwik lab credits<\/strong>to perform all required activities and course related work and awarded certificate on successful completion of the course.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

EXPLORE ML WORKSHOP<\/h5>

DSC and Google AI organized \u2018ExploreML\u2019<\/strong>, a technical workshop on\u00a017th and 18th of September 2019\u00a0<\/strong>followed by its advanced session held on\u00a029th January 2020. Akshay Kumaar M III year IT department, Explore ML facilitator<\/strong>\u00a0(Google) and Google DSC Core team Member, was the resource person of the workshop. This workshop was conducted for 43 shortlisted students from both\u00a0St. Joseph\u2019s College of Engineering and St. Joseph\u2019s Institute of Technology<\/strong>\u00a0. Students were given hands-on training on Artificial Intelligence Students who performed well were rewarded with swags and prizes from Google and a course completion certificate.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

GOOGLE DEVELOPER STUDENT CLUB SUMMIT<\/h5>

The Developer Student Club Summit<\/strong>\u00a0in India was held from\u00a022nd to 26th August 2019<\/strong>, at the Hotel Leela Palace, Goa, India and was attended by\u00a0Nikhil Xavier John, 4th year Information Technology, St. Joseph\u2019s College of Engineering, St. Joseph\u2019s Group of Institutions<\/strong>. The summit focused on the development and motivation of the DSC leads to inspire, innovate and inculcate the problem-solving nature in students.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Google\u2019s Explore ML Academy<\/strong>\u00a0was held at Google Office, Hyderabad, on\u00a014th and 15th September 2019<\/strong>\u00a0and was attended by\u00a0AKSHAY KUMAAR M, 3rd year Information Technology, St. Joseph\u2019s College of Engineering, St. Joseph\u2019s Group of Institutions<\/strong>. Workshops, solution development activities and training in Artificial Intelligence domain were guided by Google Engineers.
